Sunrise at Sikunir

Sikunir is the name of a hill, one of the many hills and mountains surrounding the Dieng Plateau, located in the Sembungan village, Wonosobo. This hill is located in south of Lake Cebongan (tadpole) and has a height around 2300 meters above sea level. The perfect place for the sunrise moment.

Cockfight!

In one corner of this city, in the slum area called “Kota Lama” (The Old Town or Oude Stad), in a traditional market between the old Dutch heritage buildings, people gathered, cheering, celebrating a small event: cockfight!

Ratu Boko’s Palace

Ratu Boko’s Palace (sometimes also Ratu Boko’s Temple), was originally named Abhayagiri Vihara according to the inscription from 856 AD,  is located 196 m above sea level on a plateau, around 3.5 kilometres south of  Prambanan temple complex. It took less than 1 hour to get there by car from the city center of Jogja.
